Simple Salt PRIME is specially formulated for use with the entirety of Simple Salt System, but will perform in any pool. The patented chemistry is designed to make pool maintenance easier, while protecting your pool and equipment. Once added, PRIME will help maintain a more stable alkalinity and pH. Additionally, PRIME will help the sanitizer be more effective in the water. Use of PRIME will provide soft and silky swimming pool water that will be very comfortable and enjoyable.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: read entire label and use in accordance with directions and caution statements. Add product only as directed. NEVER MIX DIFFERENT PRODUCTS TOGETHER IN THE SAME BOTTLE OR PAIL. ADD PRIME DIRECTLY TO THE WATER. This product may get chunky or hard over time and will not affect product performance. Store in a cool dry place in-between use.

1. For established pools, test cyanuric acid levels. Do not use PRIME if your cyanuric acid levels exceed 70 ppm. This product will increase cyanuric acid level by 30ppm when 25 pounds is added to 10,000 gallons of water. Contact your local dealer for equivalent product that does not contain cyanuric acid
2. Before applying PRIME, adjust water balances to their ideal ranges. pH 7.2-7.6, total alkalinity 80-120ppm, calcium hardness 200-400 ppm
3. Simple Salt PRIME (25 lbs.) treats up to 15,000 gallons of water. Pools exceeding 15,000 gallons should use 2 containers (50 lbs.). With the pump running, introduce 1/2 the contents of this container (12.5 lbs.) directly into the pool. Apply the other 1/2 of the product at least 8 hours later. Apply Prime across the surface area of the pool with the pump running. Avoid applying to the pool in windy conditions. Brush or vacuum undissolved particles that may have settled on the bottom of the pool. Some product may remain on the surface of the pool water or pool bottom, but will dissolve with normal circulation and water agitation. Under certain conditions, pool water may effervesce for 1 to 3 minutes after Prime is added to the pool. Pool may be used 15 minutes after all particulate has been dissolved
4. Operate pool pump and filter continuously for 24 hours. Simple Salt Prime works in conjunction with other elements in the Simple Salt System. See your local dealer for more information on daily, weekly, and annual maintenance
5. After 48 hours, adjust water balances to their ideal ranges
6. Residual of PRIME should be tested at least once a month and maintained between 30 and 50 parts per million (ppm). Your local dealer can provide this test. Typically Simple Salt PRIME does not need to be reapplied during the season. Once in the water Prims is only lost due to excessive splash-out or backwashing filter
7. Pool water treated with Simple Salt PRIME should not be discharged into lakes, streams, or ponds. Disperse discharge evenly over lawn or yard. Add PRIME only as directed. Do not exceed recommended ppm of product
