1 Quart - Scale Inhibitor

What it does

BioGuard^® Scale Inhibitor is highly effective at preventing scale build-up and cloudy water from high calcium levels. It is easy to use, while protecting pool surfaces and equipment from costly damage. It stays effective for up to four weeks.

• 10% 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid
• pH <3.0
• Compatible with chlorine, bromine, Mineral Springs^® and saltwater systems
• Do not use with SoftSwim^® or other biguanide systems
• Liquid sequestering agent

• When applied according to label instructions, product will remain active for approximately 3 - 4 weeks

Directions for Use

Initial Treatment

1. Apply 1 quart per 10,000 gallons to deep end of pool with pump running.
2. Circulate 48 hours continually after application.
3. Swimming can resume immediately after treatment.

Maintenance Treatment

1. Apply 16 ozs. per 10,000 gallons of water once a month.

• Maintenance doses should be used for pools in areas where excessive minerals cause extreme and constant scale problems.
