Kit Includes:

• 1 lb bag of Shock
• 1 qt. of Winter Algaecide

Instructions for clear water next spring.

1.  Clean pool and vacuum up any debris present in pool water.  Any debris or algae left in the pool will result in problems next spring.  Remove all ladders and accessories.
2. Test and adjust pH, Alkalinity and Hardness levels.  Pool water must be balanced (pH 7.2 - 7.6, Alkalinity 80 ppm - 150 ppm, Hardness 175 ppm - 275 ppm, Iron & Copper less than or equal to 0.5 ppm)
3. Apply chemicals 24 hours before lowering the pool water.  Add entire contents of this box to pool as follows: 1st) Add Haviland Quick Shock by broadcasting over the pools surface.  This will free up any remaining combined chlorines and increase it's effectiveness.  2nd) Pour entire contents of Haviland Algae kil 10 into the pool.  This will prevent the growth of algae during winter months.
4. Next, lower your water level to the recommended level for closing your pool.  Clean and store all equipment.
5. Cover pool with a quality cover and properly install to prevent debris from falling in the pool.
